Program Description: 

Coming August 2010, Ethan Bortnick premieres on PBS with his own 60-minute HD television concert special, Ethan Bortnick and His Musical Time Machine. Shot at the legendary El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, February 2010, the show features Ethan Bortnick and musical guests, The Canadian Tenors, jazz trumpet great Arturo Sandoval, and hit-making legend Gloria Gaynor. Before a live audience, Ethan Bortnick travels through time in an eclectic musical celebration, drawing viewers into a rollicking, epic panorama spanning sounds of Mozart, The Beatles and the disco era. Ethan is accompanied by a small string ensemble, a full rock-and roll rhythm section, keyboards, percussion and a choir.

 

 

Availability: 

Ethan Bortnick and His Musical Time Machine will be available in August 2010 on PBS.

 

 

Premiums:

Companion CD and DVD will be available for pledge, along with concert tickets and "meet & greets" with Ethan in select markets. Ethan is also available for station visits in support of pledge.

Ethan was the youngest performer on the remake of “We are the World”. He has raised record dollar amounts for children’s charities across the globe, and recently helped raise over $12,000,000 for Miami children’s hospital. He is being called the youngest Philanthropist in the world.

 

In October of 2010, and then Spring of 2011, Ethan will become the youngest Entertainer to headline his own tour. Look for a North American tour in 2010/2011!
